So I was discussing this with people [link] and that old "there are women who have regrettable sex and say they were raped" came up, and I really can't understand it.
If I had regrettable sex, or sex with someone regrettable, and I was so ashamed why would I tell anyone about it anyway? Why would I charge someone with a crime when I could have kept my mouth shut and no one would have known, but now it's maybe in the paper and everyone's talking about it-I just don't even see how that myth makes any sense.
I use "Have fun storming the castle." all the time.

I know a guy this happened to, the girl was so ashamed of herself for going against all her church's and family's teachings against sex that she decided she must have been forced into it, because she wasn't the sort of girl to do such a thing. And she felt so guilty she couldn't just keep quiet.
edit: He got out of it because he's a little bit creepy and videotaped it, and she was recorded as giggling and suggesting stuff they could do.

What am i doing this weekend? Mostly watching stuff on the DVR.(Probably a lot of Top Gear)
Also going to see if I can watch H50 from Sunday online, since my DVR cut off the last 15 minutes or so.(I didn't check, but football post-game show was running that long on the recording)
