Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister and I love Princess Bride together more than we love anything together. We will cheerfully recite chunks of the movie at each other. Despite having seen it upwards of 30 times now, I've never seen it with her. Well, not with her in the room. I think I've watched it with her on the phone once.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I remember taking a trip to Italy with my parents and my brother when I was 16. Two weeks (or more?) of gorgeous Italian scenery, art, food, etc., and the whole time my brother and I talked to each other almost exclusively in Princess Bride quotes and Monty Python quotes.

My poor parents.

I say, "Is too much, lemme sum up" to people and they DON'T GET IT? HOW YOU NOT GET THAT, PEOPLE?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I say that one all the time, and who doesn't use "Have fun storming the castle!"?

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

One day, I will properly use "As you wish." One day.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

No one in my family is a big Princess Bride fan, which flabbergasts me. They just don't really get it.

"Game over, man!" is very useful.

And, of course, "You keep using that word."

Invader Zim: "I shall now sing the Doom Song!"

edit: ita beat me. May it only ever be in posting quotes.

I don't trust people who don't like TPB.

Rolling down a hill?

If that's what it takes, yes.

And that will probably be the least of it.
