You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Egad, the neighborhood raccoons are getting even bigger. One just jumped on our roof and I SWEAR it sounded like a person was up there.

Hey, they gotta eat.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Teppy, has your guy tried glucosamine chondroitin for his knee pain? The surgeon who did my shoulder surgery recommended it for my knees, and the stuff is nearly miraculous. If I go for a week without it I can feel my knees getting loose and unstable.

I'm going to have to find that out. I know he doesn't take it (unless he has a secret vitamin/supplement stash I don't know about it), but he doesn't take any vitamins/supplements even though I get evangelical with him about fish oil.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hey, Hec, have you been to Mission: Comics and Art? Wait, I think I took you there. The owner reminds me of you. He has a similar look and voice; it was throwing me tonight.

I can't decide whether I should go to a small conference in Philadelphia in May or a big conference in Chicago in June.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

According to my GP, more recent studies have found that glucosamine chondroitin is no more effective than placebos, and can increase one's bad cholesterol.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Smonster, I've read the same thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I might have gone in to work, except I apparently turned off my alarm! Good one. I'm definitely not all the way better, but I feel bad for the people I was supposed to meet with today.

Oh, awesome -- one of the people the meeting was with is also out sick.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm feeling a bit better, but not all the way, too. I had scheduled a vacation day for a flying lesson, but that's not gonna happen now. Still, that means that they weren't expecting me in the office anyway.

So, I'm staying home, watching tv. Lots and lots of House. Yeah, that should end well.

Hee. At least I'm guessing you don't have bizarre and life-threatening symptoms??

Well, I didn't use to.
