Also, I realized I'm grateful they now keep the meth-ish cold med behind the counter, so I don't take them by accident any more! Because yikes. I am really not good with uppers.
ION, I am pretty impressed with Boston. Even my little residential street is totally plowed. Although I'm really glad I don't have a car I need to use, because many many parking spots are now full of snow.

Hubby pines for his old love, Vioxx. The rotten, heart-breaking bitch. His cardiologist--who I trust--swears it wasn't the Vioxx that caused all the grief (something about the type of damage not being the same) but Hubby did start having heart problems when he was on it. Apparently there are a lot of people out there who would swear binding oaths not to sue over possible heart problems if they could have their Vioxx back.

Vioxx caused my dad's heart attack. I felt a bit bad about that, because it had really helped my friend's arthritis pain, so I suggested he ask his doctor about trying it.

Benadryl makes me stupid sleepy if I take two, but one will usually kill an allergy attack pretty well. I love Sudafed, but I don't even bother to go through the hassle of looking for it anymore.
Ibuprofen, on the other hand, I take pretty much every day. Always every night before bed now, too, because otherwise the joints in my hands are really bad in the morning.

how odd--mine told me to take it and gave me a scrip for strong ones! Not that they usually do much but I think the concept was they're less likely to cause rebound?
