I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My mother says that most people get their cars washed once a week. I have no idea -- I've been getting mine washed usually twice a week lately, because the salt and sand from the roads builds up on the windows so much that I can barely see through them if I let it go any longer than that, but during the summer and fall, I'd get it washed maybe once or twice a month.

BWAHAHAHAHA! Once a week? I'm sure your mom is wonderful, but that is crazy talk.

I wash mine maybe twice a year? In the spring and then sometime in the summer. I shovel out the inside maybe 4-5 times a year.

I resent the time I spend gassing it up and getting the oil changed, much less cleaning it. I focus on cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry, and that takes up enough time.

God, I am beat. I fell asleep at about 11:30 and woke up at about 3 am with horrible stomach pain and some GI distress, to put it politely. I never wake up to pee or whatever once I am asleep. I couldn't fall back asleep til 4:30 or so, and then DH's alarm goes off at 5, so it was all patchy "God, let me just get 5 more minutes" nappage until 5:45.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Did DCistas all get home safely? I am currently in Silver Spring, after a three-hour stint in traffic. Luckily a friend of a friend lived nearby and offered to put me up.

8" on my deck. And that's AFTER 2-3" compressed under sleet and rain. Oooohkay.

Punishingly Intricate

It took a friend of a friend 4 hours to get 7 miles. The local news is saying people are preparing to sleep in their cars on 83 (the highway that runs north-south from the beltway into bmore). It's been closed for hours after a tractor trailer jacknifed on it.

I am VERY happy I was able to leave work early this afternoon.

ION, my next door neighbor is belching REALLY LOUDLY.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

I regard not washing my car as a protective measure that makes it less attractive to potential thieves.
