Onerous Task: completed! Went to my first therapy appointment, didn't completely melt down or freak out, learned some helpful things, and made two appointments for next week.

Now my big question for the evening is: decaf Cocoa Coconut Tea, or absinthe?

It's like a ten minute technological multiple orgasm with Aishwarya Rai (SFW, but NSFLife).

That was incredible! I could not look away.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

People who have cars, how often do you get your car washed? My mother says that most people get their cars washed once a week. I have no idea -- I've been getting mine washed usually twice a week lately, because the salt and sand from the roads builds up on the windows so much that I can barely see through them if I let it go any longer than that, but during the summer and fall, I'd get it washed maybe once or twice a month.

Dude, that's the one place I feel comfortable melting down and freaking out.

But good for you! And glad to hear it.

Uh. Never. I don't really have to deal with salt issues living here. My car is seven years old (happy birthday, Darla!) and she's been washed about three times at the dealer, a freebie with service.

That will probably come later. But the idea behind EMDR therapy? Fascinating. And seemed to work pretty well on this first session.

Coding and Sleeping

In the winter, I like to wash them the first decent weekend after the salt trucks have been out. Otherwise, when they look pretty dirty and I have a bit of spare time.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I wash my car when she looks dirty.

My mother says that most people get their cars washed once a week.

Ahahahah! I wash mine in the winter once we have a long enough spell post-salt to at least survive until the next storm or it gets too gross and starts forming crystals. I actually haven't washed it this winter, we've had enough intervening rain to take care of the salt. Warmer season now gets more washes because of my leaky trees, which leave a sticky mist on it. But I'm super lazy and have a '97 whose gas door doesn't close anymore and all kinds of break dust on my hubcaps. So I'm kinda trashy. I'm the car the fancy cars leave a parking space between us.
