Try the Edwardian Ball first. I went by the Vendor's Bazaar the other day and it was fab fun.

Since the Edwardian Ball has expanded to include LA, I'm wondering if they could do one a month up the West Coast: San Diego, LA, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver.

How's the Goth scene in San Diego?

when i moved out of San Diego, um, more than 4 years ago it was more VNV nation that The Cure....and heavily industrialized. Like, the swirliest of goth clubs played as much or more stompy industrial music as goth music. The fetish scene was more robust than the goth scene, but there certainly was a strong goth scene.

My phrasing is terrible when it takes the pauses in btwn 3 med calls to compose a response. Apologies.

Real answer to question: healthy and thriving, if not strictly "Goth" in my eyes.

Embarrassments that didn't exist before the 21st century: You tell your family that you've changed jobs, and they're all, yeah, we already saw it on LinkedIn.

Still no action on the job front, although I upped my alcohol request from Racer 5 (great locally-brewed IPA) to an old bottle of Oban. Given the stress this is causing me, I don't see it's too much to ask from the guys who fucked up the process.

I have six workdays left and they still don't know what to do with me. Joy.

And my cubicle is overflowing with paper: reports I need to review, crap I need to draft, stuff to file. Can I hire an elf to come deal with this all for me?
