Wasn't what I was expecting, but it works. Can't really taste the scotch unless you know it is in there because the cocoa is so strong, you wouldn't realize the slight smokiness is from the scotch.

Loki's decided something fascinating lives in one of the speakers. He really wants to take the fabric off the front. He's so noodgey tonight and it is too damned cold to take him for a walk (he wouldn't go, anyway. He lasted on the deck for about 10 seconds before wanting in.)

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I had a craving for Milano cookies. So I actually left the house and went to Target. On a Sunday. I think I grossly overestimated both my energy and my health.

Now I'm back in indoor pants and a sweater. I hate being sick during gorgeous weather.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's nice out? Ah, well.

Sorry to hear you're under the weather (NPI), Kat.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Fuck. The only cough suppressant I have is nighttime formula, and I was going to say up for Downton Abbey, but now I'm thinking I'll just take it now and go to bed. But I don't feel that sick! I wish I had gone to the drug store today.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I think I did something wrong today. I put on outside clothes but never went outside.

I'm really hoping my ick has finally departed. I feel better but I haven't tried to do karate or anything that takes some energy and stamina.

Because books.

I think I grossly overestimated both my energy and my health.

This was me, but with Walmart. It's enough to degrade your faith in humanity by several (dozens of) degrees.

And the one thing I initially left the house for was the one thing I forgot.

Because books.

Suzi!

Um, what did I do?

Never mind! Wow, I'm scatterbrained today. Glad you got it!

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I have a job interview tomorrow and this is the job description the temp agency sent me:

Job Description: Dispatcher-taking incoming calls/emails/possibly some walk in traffic and turning them in to service calls. acknowledge receipt, and keep communication between client and techs. then scheduling the tech for his job. will get start and stop time and give info on the next job. MUST FEEL GOOD IN MS OUTLOOK. Must be strong but not harsh, flexible and know when to say it has to be done this way. Must be able to embrace the job as your own. Managed, organized, responsible for communication, dont give up, cant get frustrated easily.

The italicized words are ones I found a little strange. Do they strike anyone as peculiar?
