I've always had psuedonyms, pen-names and stage names. They change over time, but I'm always planning them.

Oh, the SO was named after an astronaut! We always tell him he got lucky, it could have been Buzz.
I always thought that if I had a daughter, I'd name her Alicia Marie, after both of my grandmas (Alice and Mary, who was better known as Mae).
My mother's middle name is (spelling unsure and definitely not the same as her namesake) Delores Delrio. I have no idea what small town Jamaica was doing at that time, but it was sure cracktastic. But she beats out her sister Gillette, I think. Two of her brothers got off pretty timelessly and normally (Philip and William) but nobody calls them that, so it doesn't count. Well, nobody calls any of them what they were christened. But in Gillette's case, it's clear self defense.
it could have been Buzz.
Last year, I saw a tv movie about Apollo 11 in which James Marsters played Buzz Aldrin. I thought that casting was a bit strange until last night, when I watched this week's ep of the PBS history of NASA. Marsters looks a lot like the young Buzz!
My god, I've just about convinced myself to update the family tree. Sheeit. I don't need that.
GilletteI know a Gillette! She in her mid-twenties and seems to really like the name. I never asked if she was teased about it.
I wasn't named after anyone in particular; my mom just liked the name Kate, and thought it was a good strong name for a girl. (I like to think Kate Hepburn had something to do with that.) She also thought it was a little unusual, though that's proven demonstrably false. Still, when you consider I was nearly named Greta instead, I think my name worked out just fine.
My dad's middle name is Rising, which I love. Neither my brother nor I got that as a middle name, but I'd like to give it to one of my kids.
Oh, and porn star names: Mine is Bunny Beach, which I think is pretty awesome, but my former housemate had the hands-down winner: Fluffy DiPillo.
I used to think Mercedes was a weird name for a girl. That was before I found out the car company was named after a girl.
I've friends with three daughters, all of whom have attributes as their middle names: Katherine Faith, Elizabeth Grace. The third daughter was adopted from China, and retains her birth name, so Emily (Chinese name) Hope. I thought Hope was an appropriate choice.
