In good news, I got a letter in the mail yesterday from a bank I don't bank with. Turned out to be about some Starbucks stock from many years ago when I worked for them and had kind of figured was gone with the wind since I didn't even begin to know how to track it down. Looks like it's currently worth about $4500. Nice! I'm not going to sell it or anything, but maybe this time I'll try to do a better job of keeping track of it.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

IOgoodN, my mom is arriving tonight! She's had a tough year and this visit is all about being a vacay for her. We have movies, gardening, shopping and trips to look at nice things planned. Plus, she and I always go to the big lefty church in Pasadena [link] on Sunday, so she can get ideas to take back to her less-big lefty church at home [link]
