I'm baking a lasagna while watching a BBC America marathon of The Tudors. The lasagna is 15 minutes from being done and smells wonderful. The Tudors puts the fiction in historical fiction, but it's wonderfully trashy fun.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I can't wait for wedding drama stories!!
Totally agree!
I was going to make pollo asada but I have forgotten to get tortillas. I am an idiot. Or maybe an idiota.

JRM was so good as Henry, especially young Henry. Lusty and power-hungry and cocky.
Pretty, pretty people.
Oh dear, i just set up a call (for police response) for a man going door to door asking to use a phone to call God. Waiting to hear how the officer handles that one....
Today I have done a load of laundry, scrubbed my bathtub, cleaned my kitchen counter and the grill and panini press that go on it, and wiped down the worst parts of my living room floor with Murphy soft wipes so there's no longer a thick blanket of dust under my coffee table. That's enough industry for a day off, right?
better than i do most weekends!
Connie, thanks for the link to the "Scandinavia and the World" comic. Funny stuff. I had to read them all.
Just flipped to the Golden Globes carpet. Justin Bieber got asked who his date was... it's Jon Chu, who's apparently directing him in some movie. Both were rather nonplussed at being assumed dates. (Jon Chu directed Step Up 2 and 3 and the LXD, for those who aren't dance nuts)
Managed to get some new swim caps (current one is beginning to threaten to go) and a case for my iTouch. Failed at clothes shopping, got in my swim, cleaned the first floor. Even dusted some. Still feel like nothing got done today.
That reminds me that my kids need new swim goggles and I need a swim cap.
