Working all day. That's about it. In fact, I should get dressed and go do that now.

Can't wait to see you, Liese!
slept 12 hours. just getting started today. wow. I guess I really needed that. DH took HKF bowling in the interim. Love him.
I found a black dress! Floor length, has straps, didn't break my bank account. It's very exciting.
Also, I have just discovered that en route from home to joining the ship, I have one afternoon/evening to spend in Sydney. I'm sure I'll be exhausted, but since every other time the ship docks in Sydney we'll be finishing one cruise and starting another, I don't think I'll have another chance to see Sydney. My hotel isn't near Sydney Harbor, it's right by the airport, but - what MUST I do with one afternoon in Sydney?
Is there an opera playing that evening?

personally - Bondi Beach, the harbour bridge ( [link] ), Darling Harbour, the zoo, there's a great Sunday market in Portabello, or there was, or just (if you're not against being on more boats) take the ferry around the harbour if its a nice day. Hope your flight is great and that you have a fantastic time.
I vote taking the ferry to the zoo, zuisa. From the ferry, you can see the full scope of the harbor and the zoo is great. Remember that the sun is wicked.
Bondi!!!! There's a bookstore/cafe called uh.. Uh...feminist lovers.. Uh. Gertrude and Alice's!!! Yes, go to Gertrude and Alice's, then hit Bondi! My best day there.
Remember that the sun is wicked.
The sun is the one thing freaking me out about this job. I will be bringing copious amounts of sunscreen, but I'm really pale, and I basically burst into flames if out in the sun too long. But hopefully I'll get used to it! I've been living in cold climates for so many years now I don't qute remember what heat is like!
I just spent the better part of the morning reading all of "Scandinavia and the World." (Well, that an adding a bunch of old CDs to iTunes, getting breakfast, etc.) Thanks for linking!
