What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ack, bon! I hope Bob bob heals up quickly! Croissants are dangerous!

I have no opinion on Holmes having seen neither show nor movie, and having loved the literature, but prepubescent at the time.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

He'll be fine, there's just...less of Bob.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Ouch! Poor Bob!

Also, I would just like to say, for the record, fuck insomnia. I have to get up in less than three hours and commute an hour across LA, and my stupid brain will not shut up. Tomorrow...sorry, TODAY is not going to be pretty.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Eek! Poor Bob! I hope things heal over okay.

As for Sherlock, either the demisexual or asexual idea work for me. I could also see any possible physical sexual attraction being trumped by his being massively turned off by the person's relative lack of intelligence. In short, unless there was a strong emotional connection, we're talking about a very small pool of potential partners.

I agree that the cut regarding the cabbie makes little sense.

Also, I adore this version's Watson beyond all reason.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks, MFNlaw! It looks like your airport is one hop from mine and could make for a fun cross-country. I'll let you know when I'm soloing.

I'm watching Sherlock now, and finding it tremendously fun. I especially like the focus on Watson. And the "3 patch problem". As I'm only partway through it, I don't think I can comment on the sexuality issue yet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The cabbie did say Moriarty's name.

Poor Bob Bob! Yikes.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Forgot about the Sherlock series, went with an episode of Top Gear instead.

hip deep in pie

Benedict Cumberbatch

I keep thinking he should be a bunny in a Beatrix Potter story with that name.

Holmes was really well done. I liked it lots.
