I have discovered a wonderful online comic, Scandinavia and the World [link]
It's done by a Danish woman, and it's sort of RPS featuring the personifications of the Scandinavian countries and others. It's educational and funny and full of surprise yaoi (poor Germany, he really needs to have Denmark and Netherlands leave him alone, it's making Sister Japan a little anxious, not that Denmark and Netherlands need much encouragement that way).
Oh, and the opinions of Europeans re: America can be eye-opening to those who think we're universally loved.
Are there many Americans that think you're universally loved? Feared and envied, I get, but loved?
I kind of assumed everyone loathed us.
I kind of assumed everyone loathed us.
Same. If we're popular, I see us as being popular the way the stereotypical bitchy head cheerleader is popular.
Ha. So not a rockstar except the part where we fell asleep in our clothes...and missed the show. Oops.
I know people who think America is loved and envied--and those who don't love us are Those Sorts. Then again, those people wouldn't make it past the first five comics of Scandinavia and the World.
Connie, that webcomic is
hilarious.
Wrong in so many ways, but it's a hilarious sort of wrong.
Ooops indeed. But now you are awake and apparently on N&G time! They are asleep, btw.
Connie, that webcomic is hilarious.
You just want to give Finland a hug, don't you? After you disarm him?
