"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Alan! Alan! Alan!

That was fun.

I left work at 4. I think after this week, that's forgivable. Especially since they have me working on my day off. And I need info from certain people (that they should have given me months ago) and no one responded today. And they are off monday. If you want me to use your fancy new dedicated server, tell me the fuck what it is called!

All these people who were out of town or telecommuting were all "DUDE! Missed all the excitement!" and got a death glare from me. That kind of excitement, no one needs.

Good job with the swim, Kathy!

I just got the weirdest facebook ad--

Come join the fasting growing gay professionals community on the web. Find fun, friendship, or love. See our commercial on FOX & MSNBC.

I was confused by the typo (fasting gay community) and by the fact that they have commercials on FOX.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So I tried to fill in my timesheet at the last minute, and it doesn't recognise my user ID. Oops. Busted deadline, bad ita. And I'm not in on Tuesday, so it will be even later. But I have a help ticket in.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

So, criticism of Sarah Palin isn't just "blood libel." It's also "simply the latest round of an ongoing pogrom against conservative thinkers." [link]

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Sarah Palin is a Russian Jew? She can see her family from her house!

So does B.org have a mobile site? What do we recommend for reading via smartphone?

I don't know what browser I'm using, but I do know that I can't see the post message button on the phone...

I'll take this over to tech.
