We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Took today off to run errands and go for a swim, and the only thing I managed to do was the swim, although I did get the box of food pantry donations into the car. But, I forgot to bring the address of the place with me and couldn't find it--turns out I was on the wrong street! I'm leaving it in the car and will take it over Monday morning before work.

My swim was very successful indeed! I did the full 20 laps that I planned on (two more than on Wednesday), added three minutes of just kicking, and still had enough energy to take a rather leisurely shower afterwards. Yay for more energy!!

Goal for my weekend swim is 22 laps and five minutes of kicking.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

The switch made dates skip forward, not backward. In the UK it was September 2nd, and the next day was September 14th.

Well, drat. A perfectly good ass-pulled theory destroyed by facts. Oh, well.

Sexual position WTF?

They do say on the site the position's for either a porn shoot or showing off for others, so the whole "benefit of the viewer" thing seems like a good call.

oh noes, a cat ran into our garage while mac was out there playing. No collar, clearly a pet, we just went to animal control, no chip. mac is convinced we need it, we do not. I am making posters and will take her to animal control tomorrow by noon if we can't find the owners.

msbelle, don't you already have a cat? Or am I imagining things?

Oh, and that "I can hear you having sex" card someone posted earlier? TOTALLY tempting.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

There's usually a website or two that can help, msbelle. And Craigslist.
