Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I posted on the LJ that sail linked to.

Is there a dreamwidth crossposty version?

Tonight I had to share a lane with 3 people, which means circle swim, which I kinda hate.

I don't know how to do that! Well, actually, I'm such a bad swimmer I can't really share lanes at all. I started swimming in the lake! We don't have lanes, we have currents! I have got to learn, though, but I have to do it during open swims when there isn't anyone in the (two) lanes, because when I've gone to lap swim, all the lanes are full, and there's nowhere I can piddle around until one opens up.

I need to check my schedule when I get home. The pool should be open then.

Is there a dreamwidth crossposty version?

It was set up back in 2007, so, no.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Sorry to xpost, We visited the apple at Huntington last weekend. The difference in Grace is remarkable.

In other news, this month is a ball of stress. Every day feels like odious work day. But we're reading Botany of Desire in my non-fiction comp classes and Jane Eyre which I haven't read since high school in my AP class. I'm sort of stoked.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The difference between Noah in May and February is so baby...to boy. And never mind the growth in Grace.

Why can't I post animated GIFs to tumblr? They all freeze on the first frame. But other people do it all the time.

I just watched the Dhavernas doctor thing. I feel quite objectified, as a Third Worlder. Former Third Worlder. Developing Nations person.

This is the better pic of him with the apple: [link] When I do the book I'm going to do, I'm going to have to do two pics per time as they get older.

Also, does he totally look like a model striking a pose here? [link]

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Work it, Noah, work it! I have got to meet these kids. And their moms, of course.

I have hit the stage of being sick where I HAD to change my sheets. I've gone from "it doesn't matter, I don't care" to "ewwwww, germs", which is a positive direction. Yet the process of stripping and remaking the bed has me exhausted. Blech.

I know I'm late on this one, but the new zodiac is ALL BULLSHIT. I mean more than the usual amount of astrological bullshit. I refuse to be changed.
