I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

There is such a thing? I did not need to know that.

Yes, there is. It's my favorite sandwich on their menu (other than the Oreo/mint frozen custard sandwich).

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Heh. It's not even that they called him, but they also refused to have him excluded from the rolls:

His owners, Anna and Guy Esposito, filed to have Sal disqualified for jury service, but the request was denied.

In her application, Anna Esposito listed that Sal "is unable to speak and understand English," one of 10 statutory qualifications for disqualification from service. (Others include "not a United States citizen," "under age 18" and "over age 70.")

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

When's our next onerous task day?

I need motivation right now. I need to get this document finished today.

Okay, not right now. Right now I need to lie down, because the headache has been bad this week and I can't think straight.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I am doing onerous tasks now. Well, tasks anyway. I am whirling about trying to get stuff done before this trip. Like take my whole new website live. I don't know why I agreed to launch today. Other stuff to do!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

That's insane. Everyone knows how susceptible kitties are to bribery and tummy skritches.

I am doing all the small onerous work tasks I need to do in order to avoid doing the big ones!

Oh, here's an unauthorized podcast of earlier seasons of The Age Of Persuasion: [link]

That's insane. Everyone knows how susceptible kitties are to bribery and tummy skritches.

And cats will be prejudice if the defendant is a dog or a bluefin tuna.

I'm taking tomorrow off of work so I can do some onerous tasks around the apartment.

1) Take cat to vet for clawtrimming.
2) Take box of donations to food pantry.
3) Get hair cut.
4) Go for a swim.
5) Do some cooking for next week.

None of which are really all that onerous, just stuff I've been putting off doing for a while. The cat's claws are getting painful when she sits on top of my chest and kneads her paws on me, the food pantry box has been on top of my dining room table for over a month now, and my bangs are reaching my upper lip.

Our wings are not tired.

There is such a thing? I did not need to know that.

Dude. Dude. Culvers has peanut butter milkshakes!!! I always get one when in Texas or Nebraska.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

When's our next onerous task day?

I always have onerous tasks to do. Want to work on the document for a half hour and check back? I'll cut my dog's claws and sort donations.
