and a Flexeril for lunch.
the knot is not cooperating? bad knot. poor Amy.
Flea, I second the 'must get something from the office/go to work for an hour' strategy. I had one snow day yesterday and am so glad school's back in today - totally wiped out from the sledding-whining-sledding-tantrum-snowman-hot chocolate process. (Seriously, six? you can go on and get over yourself, anytime.) So I don't know how you're not locking yourself in your bathroom and letting the house get crafted over by now. You are my hero.
Wow, Cumberbatch gives off a whole different aura when he's ginger, doesn't he? There's a guy I could snuggle with all day, if, you know, the hubby wouldn't mind.
Yep. I find Sherlock as portrayed by Cumberbatch to be beautiful in an utterly alien, non-sexual way.
Cumberbatch as himself, on the other hand, is just sexy as hell in a completely adorkable fashion. (It's not even the ginger thing. He's still got the Sherlock hair in the video of him reading Little Red Hen, and is still at the extra-slender Sherlock weight, and it STILL fills one with the conflicting desires to pinch his cheeks and climb him like a tree.)
Hey editors! The following is part of a sentence I am trying to write:
or, at best, are treated as a curious tangent from the presumed more important story
I want to set off (or rephrase?) "presumed more important" and make it clear that I don't actually think it's more important. Thoughts? Hyphens? Quotes? Something?
Change "presumed" to "presumably"?
This is very unfortunate in my default font.
It's hysterical in mine.
Mmm, Bandicoot. And hello, Doctor, too.
I had the insides of a beef pot roast sandwich from Culver's for breakfast last Saturday,
There is such a thing? I did not need to know that.
In my default font, also hilarious.
(Oh, and Burrell, here's Little Red Hen [link] )
climb him like a tree
Favorite phrase ever.
The funny thing about our embezzler--our interim superintendent's name is ATTILA. That's right. Attila. Who steals from a guy named Attila?
Change "presumed" to "presumably"?
I used presumed to try to emphasize that it's the people making the tangent who think it's less important? I don't know -- I should scrap the whole sentence and start over, probably.
