You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, glass doors will save energy.

Outside of the fireplace?

It's not really a fireplace for pure heat. I mean, it does put out lovely heat but mostly it's a brick fireplace with a hanging mesh screen that isn't fine enough to hold back the crazy flamey spit that this wood puts out.

Honestly, I want to own a place just to have a gas fireplace that is energy efficient and maybe a woodstove for heat. And an awesome bathtub. A girl can dream....

Tcha. Have you SEEN my gas bill? Clearly not. It's HUGE! Stupid pilot light. I turned it off in the summer, but it's too much of a pain to turn off all winter and only light when you want a flame...

Our wings are not tired.

Oh, I assume I will double (triple? what's the "iple" for a twentyfold) my gas bill minimum because I'll never not want the fire going... Mmm, fireplace... I love fires. My ideal fireplace will have three settings - visual fire but no heat, low heat and, hey actually warm.

WTF, Off The Map? OK, a) if it's that hot, take OFF the shirt you're wearing over the tanktop, girl!

and b) are we supposed to assume that that guy is a DIFFERENT one than the guy on Grey's? Even though he's a doctor on both? That's confusing.

Also, would you move to a spanish-speaking place and not learn ANY words? I mean, sure, I took years of Spanish, but I feel like most people know a LITTLE bit...and it's not a difficult language (like, say, something with a non-roman alphabet)

Art Crawl!!!

I know - I couldn't believe that none of them learned any Spanish at all before hand. Nor did they think to have a dictionary at hand.

Well, the one girl did, so she could make bad translations like "reloj" for "watch" (it means wristwatch). But not like she was really trying hard.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I thought about watching that; was it pretty crappy, then?

Ah, back to school! Two days of teaching, and then another three day weekend. I do not mind!
