"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I would like to point out that most mentally ill people, schizophrenics included, don't hurt or kill people.

I think this is important to remember.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Also, have folks heard that Palin accused the press of "blood libel"?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, the important person I might have sent the wrong version of the email to? Sent me the message to his assistant telling her to write me back. So now I don't feel bad, if it's going around all over!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I wrote a post on my blog about snow days. I am trying to write more; i was doing pretty good until I got this job, but it's kicked my ass time-wise. I'm going to try to write at least once a week; it's good for me.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Also, have folks heard that Palin accused the press of "blood libel"?

And she'd been doing such a good job of keeping her mouth shut lately....

What is "blood libel"?

It comes from when people would accuse Jews of killing Christian babies for their blood.

eta: Jewish Groups: ‘We Are Deeply Disturbed’ By Palin’s Use Of Anti-Semitic Term ‘Blood Libel,’ She Should Apologize

We are deeply disturbed by Fox News commentator Sarah Palin’s decision to characterize as a “blood libel” the criticism directed at her following the terrorist attack in Tucson. The term “blood libel” is not a synonym for “false accusation.” It refers to a specific falsehood perpetuated by Christians about Jews for centuries, a falsehood that motivated a good deal of anti-Jewish violence and discrimination. Unless someone has been accusing Ms. Palin of killing Christian babies and making matzoh from their blood, her use of the term is totally out-of-line.

This is cool, pretty and awesome: Tree Hotel by Tham & Videgård Arkitekter

Here are some photographs of the completed Tree Hotel by Tham & Videgård Arkitekter, a mirrored glass box suspended round the trunk of a tree in Harads, northern Sweden.

The 4x4x4 metre cube is accessed by rope bridge and reflects the surrounding forest and sky.
