Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

One can San Marzanno tomatoes, one onion halved, four tablespoons butter. Simmer forty-five minutes. Discard onion halves.

hip deep in pie

Continued thoughts for your mom, Jilli.

My sis is in town and she helped me pick up a wooden bookshelf I ordered from Sears. Good thing. It was twice as wide and three times as heavy as I thought it would be. And that's as a flatpack. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to put it together by myself.

Confession: Until JUST NOW, I thought Charles and Ray Eames were brothers. The TV tells me they were husband and wife.

I was saddened to learn (via one of my secret santa presents from Scola) that my "imported" San Marzano tomatoes are, in fact, domestically produced.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

yeah, they have the same can and everything. For everyone else's reference, the real ones have "DOP" somewhere on the label.
