Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

sara, you also don;t have poker fingers, FYI.

Hey I have not gained any weight since Oct. YAY! That said, Biggest Loser started up again last night and man I love that show. I keep wanting there to be a show called The Last 20, where contestants have to work diet changes and exercise into their regular lives to get off the approx "last 20" lbs that it seems anyone who has dieted fights with.

Would anyone here be interested in a lj group or email chain where we can track meals and exercise with each other and be a support group?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

If by "unwatchable" you mean fricken AWESOME, I agree!

YES!

Also yes, but I can already tell you I will be crap at it. But I could use the support. Especially if we're doing another video in the spring. Those pounds gotta come off before I face the camera!

Because books.

I think I would be, msbelle. I need to eat healthier, and I really need to actually start doing the yoga, etc.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So I just found myself online in the middle of a really productive spell and I wondered why. Because I'm avoiding the onerousiest of my onerous tasks...writing my condolence letter to my former student's mom. I actually already wrote the letter! All I have to do now is round up her address and send the thing! Why is this so hard?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Although it did mean I just did a whole other spate of online things what needed doing. So, yay?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It's snowing here. Meanwhile, Nova is being velcro kitty.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You guys! Things are recovering! We haven't brought our systems fully up, but at least the damned machines are turning back on.

YAY

Um, and apparently I do not have a poker face.

Did you somehow think you did?

Going back to this morning, I am very very glad I have people who will tell me to go home. Especially today, when most of the problem requests that have come in since last Thursday somehow landed on my desk this morning.

At least my "half" day only lasted 5 hours, and then there was a milkshake.
