Just got my PBS email and realized Downton Abbey is written by the guy who wrote Gosford Park. More reasons to watch.
Oooh, I was wondering if anyone else was watching that. I read about it on Smart Bitches and watched it on-line last night. I QUITE liked -- even though I find Gosford Park nigh unwatchable -- and will be DVRing the rest of them.
Really liking Downton Abbey so far. So many agendas.
If by "unwatchable" you mean fricken AWESOME, I agree!
Everything I know about presidential assassins I learned from Sondheim.
I assembled my passport renewal paperwork and mailed it this afternoon. And I got a good quarterly review. I think this means I'm allowed to be lazy the rest of the week.
Knocked a second off my laps. Yay adrenaline?

Yay adrenaline!
I'm heading out of here in a few minutes for my swim. I think I'll try and do 20 laps of swimming this time, instead of alternating swimming and walking. Then I'll start building back up to 33 laps (a mile) over the rest of the month, then I can start shaving time off of that mile. I've got my water-resistant Timex on so I can keep track of my time, too!
I love period pieces, I love dry, English humor...I cannot love Gosford Park. It annoys me.
