"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Very spiffy, P-C.

megan, they invited you because you are cool, not because you look cool. (Not that you don't look cool.)I'm sure Buffistas can help you come up with something that says semi-formal scruffy chic and yet is still you.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Haven't watched this video yet:

What's causing the mysterious mass animal die-offs? Buttsecks.

Cindy Jacobs, a "respected prophet," says birds and fish may be dying off en masse because of the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. In other words: buttsecks kills.

"From Pokemon cards and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, to Marilyn Manson and psychic hotlines, this nation is under siege," she warns in her new book.

But Marilyn Manson and Buffy have been around for a while. Why are they killing birds now?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Very nice, P-C!

Some days, I love my job. I bet 3 students that Auburn would win the game last night (yes, I went to Bama, but my family went/goes to Auburn so I always root for them as long as they're not playing Bama). 2 girls are now walking around school with 5 or so ponytails all over their heads and one boy is walking around school in the ugliest 1986-era prom dress (and I say that having gone to the prom in 1986).

They make me giggle every time I look at them.

Today I am taking my knitting and going to hang out with my mom's quilting group. Should be a hoot.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am feeling like I am on the verge of totally fucking up several projects at work. I think everything will be OK, but am still anxious. I guess I shouldn't have another cup of coffee, huh.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am going to go to work for at least half the day! Or maybe more, based on the fact that I have about 9 hours of work waiting for me already.

Jesse, decaf??

Go, Perkins! Do overdo, though. The work will still be there tomorrow.

The nice thing about today is that the SF managers will be there, as they usually are on Tuesdays, and I am pretty sure at least two of them will yell at me to go home if I don't look up to snuff.

Punishingly Intricate

I'm glad you have those co-workers, Perkins!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

ChiKat, I approve of your gambling activities.

Jesse, I hate that feeling. What helps me is to try to focus on ONE thing I can do in a particular 15 minute block.

ION, we had snow last night. Not a huge amount, but enough to make driving dicey and make me decide to take advantage of the telecommute option.
