information libertarian

We've got about 6 inches of snow, and it's intermittently sleeting and supposed to sleet worse this afternoon. We've been out, eaten snow covered with maple syrup, gotten cold, come in, freaked out about cold toes, and are now eating waffles and watching TV.

It will be a lovely day, provided we don't ice up badly and lose power.

Trust my rage

We have a two hour delay. I'm so glad it wasn't a snow day, although I think the roads here are ice under snow.

Maple syrup and snow sounds good!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm still having to remind myself that I don't have to brace for my boss any more. Whee!

I wonder what kind of snow we'll get here -- it's supposed to come on Wednesday. I would not say no to another snow day! But that seems pretty unlikely.

Flea, they are backing off significant freezing rain predictions. Cross your fingers.

Mr Peabody looks very funny running through snow up to his belly.

The news is talking about how the airlines "precancelled" flights.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

no snow here. a little sad. it's spitting rain and north of us I think that is freezing leading to a mess on less traveled roads and on overpasses. I plan to stay close to home.

I have Dr. appt this morning, then taking a giant pile of books to Half-Price to sell.

Snow day here. So the boy is home. I've been up since 3:30 due to the plows and I tried to start work at 5am. Didn't do me much good since it is the first week of the new year and our financial database hasn't been updated yet. FARCK.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We're supposed to get about another 6 inches tomorrow night - we'll see if it's actual snow this time or just more slush.

Man, having a baby in the winter is hard! When Dylan was a week old I could go for a walk in the park every day, just to get out of the house. But in this weather I need to have an actual destination.

Because books.

I remember that with Sara, Jess. Winter babies can be hard.

If you're stuck at home, though, you can always take more pictures of her. ::nods::

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
