I think I've discovered several Mac features over the years after my cat "demonstrated" them to me.
mr. flea found out today that he didn't make the interview cut for the only permanent job that is likely to be posted at his workplace before his contract is up next August. There are other jobs, of course, but none in this town where we own a house and I have a job and the kids are in school and we have the beginnings of a potentially lifelong community. Also, I doubt it will ever again be a good time to sell a house, so we are likely to take a bath on that. So, very discouraged. And unreasonably angry at mr. flea for not being good enough, or something. It's not his fault - federal jobs are notoriously odd and hard to get.
