We're supposed to get a snow-spanking Monday evening through Tuesday.
And us on Tuesday as well -- it seems weird that it would hit you and us in the same time period (we usually have half a day or sometimes even a day of lag behind you guys). So that might mean it's a big-ass storm. Hmm.
We got a couple of inches today. It was enough to make it fun to go our and shovel while Ellie slid down the hill and Frisco helped me shovel. It was warm enough to be kind of nice and peaceful. Unfortunately, the storm started with freezing rain so I think there will be a lot of slipping and crashing until the sun can warm things up.
I love that about Colorado. You get a bad storm and get to enjoy the snow, but then the hassle part is gone in a few days.
Do you guys think that spaghetti straps would be alright? All it says is "not strapless", and spaghetti straps are, in fact, straps. I just don't want the Cruise Director to hate me.
I wish I could see the other colors, but I love this, this, and this - all thin straps, but I wouldn't say that any of those are particularly immodest.
Dana and msbelle, looking at the ones you linked now!

I think spaghetti straps would be fine. But if you're really worried, again, pick up a shrug or bolero to wear with the dress.
Yeah, the weather reports are saying "widespread." Also, Monday evening now got amended to Monday afternoon. Happy fun rush hour time!!!1!
We're supposed to get snow Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. Ben's already planning his snow day.
I'd say straps is straps. It's not like spagetti straps are rare or unusual, such that you would be the first person to ever to wear them in public, so that they have never had reason to make a rule against them. I think I might lean toward the first one, if that scarf/wrap came with it - because a nice wrap makes a lovely gesture in the direction of demure.
In a pinch, you can improvise a shrug by tying the ends of a silk scarf together, like so [link]
ETA: the rest of a thought I'd left out.
Oooh. I have a couple of scarves like that. I may need to give that a try.
