information libertarian

With what they are predicting, we will be lucky if we don't have closure on Tuesday too. My big fear is a power outage; we don't have a fireplace or any alternative heat source.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Zuisa, eShakti might have some appealing items for you: [link] One great feature is that you can have these items made to your measurements, and you can customize the length as well as other aspects of each dress, for quite reasonable fees.

ETA: You can have them add straps to the strapless designs, too.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

We're supposed to get a snow-spanking Monday evening through Tuesday.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

we're supposed to have a metric butt-ton of snow here over the next week also. I'll believe it when my teeny little car gets beached on the drifts.

Thanks for the links! I am perusing as I type.

In terms of size, I'm actually really small, so I feel bad that I was bitching about my dress not fitting - I mean, it doesn't, but I would still be probably a 2 or a 4 in dresses. That dress is just incredibly form-fitting and so even the few pounds I put on make it a no-go. I'm sorry I'm so dramatic; I just used to be insanely tiny so now that I am something of a normal size I tend to freak out. I know it's wrong, but there you have it.

do not apologize for your size. it is annoying when clothes stop fitting, no matter what size.

now I am off to ebay.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I love this one that someone linked, and I'm now browsing the websites some of the other dresses were on. I wish that one weren't $130, but it sure is pretty.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Try Craigslist if it's local to where you are. People are often getting rid of prom dresses or bridesmaid dresses.
