Oh and home depot is selling 20gallon rubber tubs in not ugly colors (blues and browns) fro $4.88, for those interested. I didn't plan on getting any, but ended up with 3, cause I can always try unpacking some of those cardboard boxes downstairs...

Today I went to my parents' house, and I cleaned out their refrigerator (threw away old food & scrubbed it out), trimmed the dog's feet and clipped his nails, washed the dog, helped my father load photos on the computer, set up a Picasa account for him and uploaded the photos, and had a long chat with my mother about her health.
Now I am at home and I realize that my refrigerator needs to be cleaned, I haven't vacuumed in a week, and my sink is full of dirty dishes. Bah.
Ah, well, at least I walked the dog.
I don't even want to think about the shootings in Arizona. Even if the shooter is a lone nutjob, I suspect his choice of target had a great deal to do with the level of political discourse that is considered acceptable in this country. ::snarls::
