And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Kid #1, up at 5am, fever and vomiting. Kid #2, up all night nursing.

Truly, I love my life.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor Jess. I hope Kid 1 gets better quickly, and you can get some sleep.

OK!

I should learn how to submit things, shouldn't I?

My body seems to be convinced it wants large amount of protein, but not any of the stuff I have here in the house. Getting out of the house would be more appealing if my body was also convinced that the anti-nausea meds were working, but I think I am going to give it a go as soon as I am done with my tea.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Oh, Perkins. I'm sorry you're at the stage when looking at the food you have makes your stomach turn over. I sometimes resorted to cooking boneless chicken in chicken broth, sometimes with added fresh ginger. Soup-like things seemed easier. Also, salt helps, since it's one of the things that doesn't taste funny.

It hasn't been too bad until very recently--Thursday night was the first time I actually puked since this started, and by yesterday afternoon things seemed more settled. I'm pretty sure I can find an egg dish I can eat at Hobbee's, so I think that's where I am going to head.

I was supposed to go to Farmer brown with some library school friends I haven't seen in a long time tonight though, and I am pretty sure that is not going to happen.

Mine was never too bad, either, but there were days when nothing looked like food.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I should learn how to submit things, shouldn't I?

Eh, you could, but you don't have to.

Good luck with the nausea.

Because books.

At least your body wants protein? That's a good thing.

Farmer Brown's looks fantastic. I hope you can go another time.

That's pretty much it right now, though peanut butter still works, and hamburgers (eta as long as I don't have to cook them myself).

OOH, maybe I could go get a hamburger and milkshake for lunch.

Eh, you could, but you don't have to.

Cool!

I hope you can go another time.

Me too, and soon. (waits for Juliana or Javachik)

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

The bad news is that I am sick.

The somewhat good news is that it gets me out of going to the three-hour homeowner's meeting tonight.
