msbelle, I'm sorry things got so unpleasant, but I'm glad you got some time to yourself this evening.

That kitchen is awesome. Drop down ironing boards are so cool.
I'm not sure about what's mid-century trad vs. mid-century modern but here are somce mid-century swags:
The March Hare, which may still exist but doesn't seem to have an online presence, is in the Paoli Shopping Center. I am pleased to find that this magical place still exists, which is also in that shopping center - [link] For years I was confused and disappointed that all hardware stores didn't have toy stores upstairs. Of course, these days, I'd more likely be downstairs drooling over Makita saws rather than coveting a Madame Alexander doll, but I have such lovely memories of browsing the toys while my parents got their boring house stuff.
Oddly, I don't have any nostalgia for all the mid-century stuff. I looked at that kitchen and shuddered.

msbelle, I wish I could hook you up with my neighbor Sarah. She's a little later in preferred vintage (more modern,) but similar styles and has the greatest furnishings. Pretty sure you'd love her place. And get withit, msbelle mom!
I am full up with wine and cheese and good company. Mmmm.
Polar bear spycam destruction fills me with unholy glee.
