It is cold and snowy, and I am sick. I went to the store after work because I was already dressed for it, so why not? And I just agreed to meet a friend for brunch because I feel like I hibernated way too much of 2010.
If I can take DayQuil and drag myself to work, I can take DayQuil and drag myself to a restaurant for to giggle about Hawaii Five-O.
Oh, msbelle, phooey. I wish you could have had your carefree day.
They opened in 1982! I don't know about The March Hare, but I'm going to look for it. I also never knew you lived in this area!
I lived in Paoli from ages 1 to 6, and Malvern from 6 to 13. Are you in WC proper? My geographical sense of the area sucks sense I was so young when we moved. Seriously, I thought WC was way farther away than five miles.
she needs to be on meds and in family therapy, but she is the one who always has nothing to say, things are fine. stupid repressed non-dealing mom.
I'm hiding out in the office while they all play a board game. I told them all I needed more time since they made me cry during dinner.
people, can you all help me find a funky cool light fixture for my garage. I want something flowery or chandeliery. Am also in the market for a mid-century traditional (not modern) swag light for the living room.
Oh, msbelle, I'm so sorry. I hope she can see that repressing isn't going to get her (or you, or mac) very far.
Are you in WC proper?
We are, right in the borough. Love it, too.
Smonster, did you ever make it to the Reader's Forum in Wayne?
Also cheering for Msbelle sticking up for boundaries and decency tonight.
We are, right in the borough. Love it, too.
Very cool! Istg, I have no memories of WC. Must check with parents. Exton library and mall, check. Wayne, check. Lancaster County farmer's market, hells yeah. But WC? I just can't remember.
Sox, uh, I don't think so? We frequented the Exton and Tredyffrin (sp?) libraries mostly, and the March Hare on rare occasions when we bought books.
You wouldn't recognize the Exton Mall, smonster. So different now. Much bigger, though still really weirdly shaped. The library's still right there, though.
