We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

TJ's indian masala burgers are delicious but not at all like a burger- more of a delightfully junky spiced patty.

Yay! I bought these, as well as the Morningstar tomato and basil pizza burgers and the Morningstar breakfast sausage patty as well.

Oh, and here's my college fight song lyrics--talk about inane:

Ring out, Ahoya, with an MU rah-rah
MU rah-rah
MU rah-rah-rah-rah-rah
Ring out, Ahoya, with an MU rah-rah
MU rah-rah for old Marquette!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ha, I can sing out my alma mater's song and the drinking song.

The first of Kenyon's goodly race
Was that good man, Philander Chase
He climbed a hill and said a prayer
And founded Kenyon College there.

Then...

Come, classmates fill your glasses
Fill them with sparkling wine
And we will drink a toast to
The Class of '99
Classmates, come gather round
With ties of friendship bound
Shout out in u-ni-son!
Ninety Nine and Old Ken-yon!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Can someone get a copy of CSI and edit some scenes to super slo-mo? I need to send it to bon.

I note that no one has volunteered, you lunatic.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mine goes da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da dada da da da daa da da daaaah!

Oh, no wait, that`s Ohio State and I never actuakly went to school there. I don`t know that my school had a fight song. We barely had any athletes.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I know the anthems of several countries but mostly just instrumentals. I watch Formula One, if there is a winning team - either team or driver - I've heard their anthem. Ferrari over the years just ensured I know Italy's best. I can do the bum bum bum part of the Italian with fist pumps too. And, oddly, I can sing Oh Canada over it (starting around the 30 second mark) for a while. I mostly blame Michael Schumacher. Well, for the fist pumps. For the part where I stupidly sing Oh Canada over and over, I blame that the races start before 5 a.m. and that's not ideal brain time.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

allow me to present the surreal lunacy of my school's cheer:

Yaragobi yaragobi yaragobi yunga
Taraweera taraweera taraweera munga
Yaragobi yaragobi ya mundu; Edmunds Edmunds, blue white blue.
Ya, ya, ango ya, ango popigo, taraweera wopigo
E – D – M – U – N – D – S… EDMUNDS!!!

We're very proud.

Swouncing

Skipping yet again because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Miracleman's birthday.

Happy birthday, MM! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy birthday, MM!

I'm a tarheel born

And a tarheel bred

And when I die

I'm a tarheel dead.

Bum badda bum badda bum badda bum badda bum

Go tarheels!

Bum badda bum badda bum badda bum badda bum

Go tarheels!

My school's fight song, ladies and gentlemen. UNC-Chapel Hill threatens the opposition with zombie alumni. Our main rival, Duke, has devils in theirs. It's all very supernatural in NC collegiate sports.

My alma mater is in Greek. That means I win, right?

Sophia philae paromen
philokaloumen met'eutelias
philosophoumen...

The words are adapted from Pericles' funeral oration.

Our fight song is in Greek, too.
