Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Huh. I've checked three different brands at Home Depot and Lowe's online, and all of them have several reviews saying that the product used to be great, but that the ones sold this year don't stick -- the tape doesn't even stick to the film. I can't find a single positive review for any of them written this winter. Interesting.

Usually the adhesive is just narrow double stick tape. You could just buy some better tape.

OK, I'll give the plastic a try. Much cheaper than the curtains. I'll venture to Home Depot tomorrow. (I hate Home Depot. The people who work there always treat me like I'm stupid.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Do you have an Ace Hardware? Those tend to be smaller and nicer people in our town.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

The USC contains a consolidation and codification of the general and permanent laws of the United States. It sets out the current status of the laws, as amended, without repeating all the language of the amendatory acts except where necessary. The USC is declared to be prima facie evidence of those laws. Its purpose is to present the laws in a concise and usable form without requiring recourse to the many volumes of the Statutes at Large containing the individual amendments.

The USC contains a confounderation and calcification of the generic and currentitious status of the laws, as amendamated, without repeating the language of the amendatatory acts except where funny. The USC is hereby declarified to be quo ispos custard. Its purpose is to present the laws in a concisory and facilitatable formation without requiring recourse to the many volumes of the Statutes at Large which are heavy and hard to read.

There is an Ace Hardware, but it's on the other side of town from the bunch of other places where I need to go tomorrow afternoon.

We will tell you about all the laws.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I want to see this explained with cats.

It's a sickness.
