Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I held Morena Baccarin's hips today.

You have far more interesting yoga classes than I...

Continuing my Dadaist trolling through the net, found on The Daily Kitten

Ziva, DiNozzo & McGee

I think the one in the middle is DiNozzo, he seems to be beating up on McGee.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I held Morena Baccarin's hips today.

That is too cool!

CRAP. I just got a call. Completely forgot that I had a haircut and an eyebrow wax scheduled for this evening. I've completely lost track of my days. I totally wanted to get that done before I left town, too. Oh well.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Your Hollywood life is so glamorous, Kat!!

Whoa, I slept like SHIT last night. A real struggle to get out of bed this morning, and I was pretty zombie-like at work.

Organic chemistry, explained with cats:

Good god, that made sense.

Punishingly Intricate

The only vaguely famousish person I've been in yoga classes with, to my knowledge, is Marion Winik (writer who has done commentary on NPR, first husband died of AIDs). I couldn't remember her name just now and found it by googling "Marian met husband at book reading" because I remember that's how she met her second husband. And she was the first result that popped up. We truly live in amazing times.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

New office update: Nice people are still nice. I have walked about a mile and a half today running errands in three widely spaced buildings. I forgot to eat lunch until just now. I still have a long, long to-do list that I must tackle tout de suite. Coffee machine is yum.

I had been seriously pondering Apple TV, which claims to stream iTunes, Netflix and Hulu Plus (occasional Buffista and now localista JenK has one and loves hers). Is a Mini an even better idea? What's the advantage? Because right now I just want to nuke our cable provider into the icy reaches of the outer galaxies, and budget-wise the Apple TV is much more immediately attainable.
