Don't get swept away, msbelle!
Yay for your kid-free weekend, Jess!
Go, the rest of you productive people!
I have not done shit. But I do have a question for our sewing-istas. Over the summer, I put a sheet over my sofa, for coolness and anti-cat-claw-ruining. So I don't really want the sheet to be the permanent solution. And it's an odd shape (I think it's supposed to be a sectional), so I don't think I could even buy a slipcover. So, the upshot is, can I really just buy say three yards of this for three dollars, and have that work?? (It seems too cheap and easy...)
Productiveness hasn't happened yet. I should see if I can jump start that.
Booze question. Last night I ran the bar out of Canadian Club. If I go back to the same place to watch the game tonight, should I expect to order something else?
I would guess so? But maybe they do make deliveries/restock/etc on Saturdays.
you could buy fabric and tuck it in as a cover, but BLACK!??! with Homer?!?! That is like the most labor intensive to keep looking good.
I sew but I'm not so good on all the different types of fabric without going to a fabric store. I can't remember what poplin feels like. Surely it's cheaper to throw some fabric on than to get a slipcover, I'm sure. [link]
Napping at 6pm = staying up 'til 7am. I was up recording and editing a podcast commercial for my album. Not entirely satisfied with it but if I don't just stop, I'll never get it done and turned in. I've already procrastinated for months.
Tonight is South Pasadena's ArtWalk with galleries, music and food trucks. I'll be hanging out there unless I'm passed out from my stupid sleep being turned around.
Congrats to those who got to sleep in today, esp those who don't get to do it often.
Oh yeah, interesting point.
Kitchen is clean. Woot.
My room should be next. We will see.
I wonder how chartreuse this one actually is: [link] Maybe for $3 I don't really care! The current sheet situation looks like crap anyway.
Amy has suggested red shoes with a black dress. This goes against everything
stand for. Red-soled shoes with a black dress is fine, but my little brain can't wrap itself around the idea of me wearing all red shoes with a black outfit.
Ah, that makes more sense. The $1 was for a swatch. OK, I will actually go to a fabric store some day and look at stuff for real.
