Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

Because books.

I really like the Tea of Life stuff, although I can't find their Scottish Afternoon anymore, which is sad-making.

Not a huge green tea drinker, but I do like some flavored blacks. Pomegranate is always good. Oh, and I have some white tea with blueberry that's delish.

I'm trying to decide if I want to purchase the treadmill my roommate is selling for tuition money, or if I'm just kidding myself that I'd actually use it to run.

I'm getting the pig!

A friend found a gingerbread spice tea recently that I'll look for next time I'm out and about. M loves anything gingerbread.

shrift, it probably depends on a lot of factors. Can you put it in your room? And if so, would you like exercising in your room? Does your place get overly hot? If it's not too expensive, you could buy it and then sell to someone else if it doesn't work out... Lots of people look for treadmills right around the end of December or beginning of the new year.

Never mind, she's already sold it. Makes the decision easy!

I guess I should buck up and use the treadmills at the gym, but since I'm just trying out this running thing after decades of insisting I hated it, I really don't want anyone watching me do it. It's a thing.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Burrell, my sistah! DH and I are having out first kid-free weekend together too - left Dylan with his grandparents so we could attend our ten-year college reunion. I stayed in bed reading this morning until NOON. Just heavenly.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So we were out garage saleing and a tornado warning was issued, SO, we are home now. Looks like the first wave has gone by us, but another is coming. Mac is slightly freaking out. I need to go pull in some stuff from the front yard.

gingerbread spice tea

Sounds nom. If you find it, let me know where.

I know I was lonely without CJ earlier this week, but now I got used to it pretty quick. He comes home tomorrow and I haven't gotten done all the things I had hoped to. So, to have a quiet day enjoying my freedom or should I be uber productive until game time?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have closet shopped. Eaten lunch and maybe even breakfast, It's pretty phenomenal. Now, if only I could reassemble my bedroom in any sort of order.

I will start with cameras and other electronics. Then I will move onto the things unearthed during ransacking my closets. Then the lazy clothes that should have been put away all that time. And then laundry.

I must find an appropriate smooth soundtrack for this, and make sure I have sufficient hydration and lighting. Wish me well.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Happy reorg! We`ll send someone after you if we don`t hear from you!

I had an uber-productive yardwork morning, the kind that is only possible when you`re procrastinating paperwork. It was so great. I loaded the deck wood rack, cleared the new floor and wood racks in the shed, loaded the shed with all the stuff I`d pulled out, including pulling out the ancient tools people gave us for housewarming and sorting for functionality. Everything fit back in nicely and I need to deal with the box of birdhouse parts and the box of paints, and then those will be clear. I put the coolers out there for now but don`t know if that`s sustainable.

That gave me enough space to clear a bunch of the stuff leaning against the deck, which is now safely under the deck. So it`s just our bikes out there now. Still need to deal with the recycling and do some gardening and clear the rest of the tumbleweeds and move the brush. But it looks OMG so much better out there right now.

I've done two loads of laundry and had groceries delivered. Right now I'm browsing clothing in 4T Girls because I need to buy my niece a birthday present, and putting together a Christmas list for my family. Sometime soon, I'm going to make kale chips.
