Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Grey is alive, like fog, or silvery fur, or tree bark, or the Elven cloaks in LotR. Gray is flat, inert, like paint on a wall, or paper, or concrete.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

The fake AV would not close or even minimize, and yes I tried Task Manager, and my computer wouldn't shut down either so I had to flip off the power strip.

That sucks, smonster. I deal with this a lot, and usually I can remove it by booting in safe mode with networking, updating my antivirus/anti-malware software and running a scan, and editing the registry + dumping all recent and/or temp files.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You people that think there's a choice or a distinction between grey and gray (I actually typed grey and grey) befuddle my mind.

I am completely irrational about my feelings about grey/gray. I admit it.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Just like "your" and "you're" sound different.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

And H gets to plug the holes around the pipes.

Great Stuff is the answer.

Roger Miller, who sang/wrote King of the Road is the same Roger Miller who wrote the music for Big River.

He was actually a brilliant, if erratic, songwriter.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

What is weird is that, although similarly irrational about grey/gray, I feel just the opposite of quester and Beverly

How do you feel about the gender of numerals?

Amy - Jan 03, 2011 6:07:18 pm PST #14564 of 30001
Because books.

Gray is gray, because I was raised here, but I will admit that when I see "grey" it's ghostly and foggy and ethereal.
