Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

This is one way to tell that Cass and I are not the same person, for I love gray.

Noooooo, I love gray. I think it's totally a color. When I am wearing black and people tell me to wear more color? I point to the gray I am also wearing. Mmmm, gray. Gray is amazing.

My nails are also currently gray too.

Shiny gray nails.

ION, I thought I was charging my remote all day, but just noticed (mere minutes before TV I want to watch starts airing) that the other end of the charging cable wasn't plugged into anything. Supergenius.

Heh. Yesterday I was trying to download the pics from my (broken screen) camera. And plugged it in and nothing happened. And I was all "OMG, camera is even MORE BROKEN, how will I get my pictures?!?". Then I realized I had gotten out two camera cable things, not sure which one worked...and plugged the end of one into the computer, and the end of the OTHER into the camera. No wonder the computer didn't know the camera was there!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I adore gray nails. They always feel cyborgy.

not your mom's socks.

apparently, one of them was the "best damn hunting dog ever." When you ask the name of that dog, however, you only hear the names of the dogs around him, because that one never actually had a name.

Because names are used when yelling at wrongdoers has always been my best guess on that one. It's why the kids got names.

Sass is adorable, and the best kind of luxury item. The kind that loves you back.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Nice.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Shrift, I'm grateful for your birthday, and may your life improve from here.

Mouse shredded a drawer liner looking for nest materials and left a trail of "sign" from under the sink through the lower kitchen cabinets. Traps loaded and set. We'll do rock, paper, scissors to choose who checks the traps and disposes of any bodies tomorrow. And H gets to plug the holes around the pipes.

Ooh Cass loves grey, it is her primary color! And smonster and she both look smashing in grey. I love it, but have to choose the shade carefully lest I look "dead and laid out."

I haz grey nails too--a dark pewtery gunmetal grey. But I'm thinking Space Cadet tomorrow or next day.

I have grey cats. One who is curled up behind my butt and another against my feet. Devi's in her cube across the room.

I need to wear more grey to save the lintroller population.

Today, I tried to apply chapstick. With a flashlight. I win the stupids.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am eating the very yummy soup that Beth B's husband brought me yesterday. Tis a Good Thing.
