No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

The Reagan float is both ugly and terrifying.

I did not need a giant floral Reagan tribute this morning.

One of the drawbacks of having a bday 3 weeks after Christmas, can't go buy things I didn't get on the sales, because I still may get them, but if I don't get them, the sales will be over.

I did buy yarn for yesterday (not on any list) and I think today I will go buy something from Borders because I have a 50% coupon. I really should get a shower though, and also take down the Christmas decorations outside.

It's funny that Bob Eubanks won't shop at a store that doesn't allow the SA out front. I find the Salvation Army's unwillingness to offer aid to same sex couples repugnant.

We have to strip the tree and get it out to the curb.

I am not impressed with the fake Cirque du Soleil performers. Just waving your arms around doesn't convince me that you can do the insane-o cirque stuff.

Speaking of Cirque: Have any of you seen the ads for the Cirque take on Michael Jackson.

I am with you on SA. Will not give them money.

I've moved a bit of furniture around in my front room. The new recliners are going to need to be re-arranged once the tree comes down.

That which does not kill you should RUN

Happy 1/1/11!!!

Slept late, drinking coffee, need to take my Batman print to get framed.

IIRC, Steph is well-acquainted with the joys of gluten-free beer.

Ah, well, at least we've got her back!

It's true; I am acquainted with GF beer, but I always appreciate recommendations, since Budweiser's version of GF beer (which is the most widely available) is nasty. I mean, if you haven't had beer in a while and desperately miss it, then it's a passable substitute.

But I've had *excellent* GF beer (my brother's brewpub makes several, and has won awards for them, beating out Budweiser [which isn't hard to do (meow)]), so it's hard to drink the Budweiser nastiness. It's easier to just drink wine or hard liquor. Occaionally a cider.

We went to see Red at the dollar movie. Gosh, that was a lot of fun. "I'm going to bring the pig!"

Wasn't it great? The pig made me laugh my ass off. And -- as I believe I've mentioned before -- Helen Mirren with a gun, OMG.
