Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

I went ahead and got all four wisdom teeth removed yesterday per oral surgeon's advice. Feeling somewhat better about the decision now since most of the pain is originating from the sockets of the ones that were definitely coming out no matter what. I just finished my first non-clear fluid meal (yay, roasted red pepper soup!) and am about to see how difficult it is to navigate the tooth-brushing minefield.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My heart says no, but my data say yes. We're trying to find out now whether it is just distinctiveness in general or something specific about being sexually provocative. If the former, it might work just as well to dress as a Dalek.

Damn, and I couldn't find my R2D2 Dalek shirt this morning.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I couldn't find my R2D2 Dalek shirt this morning.

What shirt is that? Is there a link?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

They also think they are the only true Americans too.

Her solution was to increase the meds and to add fifteen minutes of dancing in the morning.

I'm with everyone else's wtf!?! What is this supposed to accomplish?

Today, I'm dressed perfectly appropriately for a Friday at this job. Jeans, sandals, Indian style smock shirt, gold and freshwater pearl necklace, gold and rhinestone earrings and gold bangles. Though I fear the bangles may be acoustically inappropriate.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

WTF on the dancing? That seems nutty.

Seriously, this latest quack seems to have migrated from merely being unhelpful into "maybe someone should have a word about her with the A.M.A.?" territory.

This weekend I'm hoping to get in a little work on converting the spaceship into a clubhouse. The engine pods are off and some of the worn out wood is now taken off and the frame is primed for repainting. By request the bottom floor of the clubhouse will retain all the toggle switched in the ceiling though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can see coffee and/or dancing being helpful if one's primary complaint was waking up groggy. If it's getting up exhausted because of lack of good sleep? NSM.
