'Candyman': How One Angeleno Created -- And Then Lost -- The Jelly Belly Empire
Being an enormous fan of Forgotten Silver, also directed by Costa Boles...I'd have a hard time trusting this documentary.
'Help'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sunil - everyone were dean-on. You are an amazing person, but what you're going through is nothing but an emotional abuse, where you're never good enough (which is bullshit). Having that from your parents, while as Steph said, are not doing that on purpose, is extremely difficult.
But you are not alone. You are not insane to ask for a relationship where your wants are important as well. And I can't tell you how proud I am in you and your brothers, for growing up to be good, thoughtful to others [multicultural] wishes human beings, despite the examples that were given to you.
P-C you'll be ready to marry when you are ready. I wasn't ready until last January and I've got a few years on you. There is nothing wrong with getting married later in life.
Yep, this. And trust those of us who have been through it--better to marry late and never have to suffer the anguish of divorce, even if it's on relatively civil terms.
Secret message to ND: PS I heart you.
More snow! After London, where it almost never snows, this is all quite exciting. I'm sure it will get dull quickly, but yay snow.
I think she said she cries herself to sleep every night.
That's what The Girl's father says to her. Situation not dissimilar (although with The Girl it's because she's an evil gay person and that is Not Done In Israel, even though it obviously is). Wishing you peace, P-C. As Amy says, do what makes YOU happy, then at least someone in this situation will be happy. From experience with TG, I'm fairly sure your parents never will be. But you can be. We battle her parents every sodding day, but we're happy regardless.
quester! Nice to see you.
People who set their happiness meter according to the actions of others are doomed to disappointment.
I should not have taken that 3 hour nap at 6:30pm.

It's all fun & games until you hear The White Witch's sleigh bells!
More snow! After London, where it almost never snows, this is all quite exciting.But... but... every production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, we have a ton of snow falling in the show. Especially the "Turkey Boy" scene. :: shocked ::
P-C, maybe you should start a website intro service for Indian-Americans. An okcupid type of thing, but with all the particular nuances that Indian families are looking for.
It's snowing in London RIGHT NOW!
Yay!
Most London folk in my Twitter stream seem happy about it. Folk in other parts of the UK are less enchanted.
Heh. Londoners don't see it as much. Adventure vs inconvenience. London will start hating the disruption soon enough. Why, why are we surprised *every winter* by the appearance of snow? "It never happens here" is sounding a bit hollow. (Yes, East Midlands Trains, I'm looking at you.)
