Good luck, Seska!
I have now made two pies, and peeled and cut up potatoes. Tomorrow, the real cooking.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Good luck, Seska!

Mmm. Pies.
Happy turturkeykey day to all USians!
Have made pumpkin pie and cranberry relish.
I made a cranberry cherry pear chutney/relish thing. (Have no clue what to call it-- I was winging it.)
Bird is brining- tomorrow is pie, first thing, then shove the bird in the oven.
Also very happy to not be herding cats. meara, I held off responding about T-giving because everyone's been taking turns not feeling well and I don't think sharing germs is in quite the spirit of the holiday. And of course, now it's Lewis who's turned up feeling crappy.
But there will be pie.
Happy Thanksgiving!
We'll be doing ours on Saturday, so when you're all calming down from the holiday panic, you can watch me slowly disintegrate in the kitchen.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
I have made a small batch of cookies. And Brownies! But I fear I may have sprinkled too much cinnimin in the brownies. They smelled reeeaaallll good baking. I will resist temptation, and wait to try them until I get to PixDesigns.
Okay, hivemind. I met with this woman on Monday morning, and she said she would type up a job offer.I think I missed something in the skimming. Didn't you just get a new job? Is this a new new job? :: shakes fist at need to skim ::
I'm awake. I'm not entirely sure why. It's not even 5 in the morning yet.
On this day, I'd say to put the bird in the oven. But you being vegetarian, I highly doubt that's the answer.

Because the earlier you wake up on Thanksgiving, the more food you get to eat?

I think you should taste one, just to make sure they're not poisoned. It's the right thing to do. The right and delicious thing to do.
I think you should taste one, just to make sure they're not poisoned. It's the right thing to do. The right and delicious thing to do.I would, but alas, I'm feeling a hair queesey, and not sure why. A wave just crept up on me. I really hope it's nothing. I have tech this weekend, and shouldn't miss it. And two houses to visit tomorrow... well, now today. Yes, I should be in bed, but I had to finish the episode of Ken Burns Jazz... and, well, I was forced to start an episode of Avatar. Forced I say!
