Wow, I'm thrilled for you. Congratulations! My brother is district Democratic chair again...he says he's going to appoint me as a precinct person. He's impressed by all my phone calls. Barb, you should not have to feel bad about asking for ~ma for your book's release day. It's your work. People ask here for ~ma for stuff at work all the time. If you are moved to ask for it, then you do not need to compare the importance of your request to the importance of any other request.

Tel Aviv city council member just emailed me about Hollaback Israel, asking to meet with me and talk about how to make the streets of Tel Aviv-Yafo safer to women. With laws and whatnot.
This goes further beyond what I thought it'll be.
