Laura, my dad recently became a snow bird and bought a condo near Ft. Lauderdale. Is that near you guys? Drew and I will be out visiting him Dec 19-23, and we'd love to see you. I'd also love to introduce you to my dad, who's a great guy who doesn't know too many people down there. He loves the beach and boats more than anything, and I would feel so much better if I knew that he knew there are people down there he knows just in case.

Pix, we are in Pompano Beach, which is immediately north of Fort Lauderdale. I think we met your dad at the left coast wedding party. We'd love to get together with him. Gives DH another excuse to take the boat out. I'm pretty sure we are going to be here over the Christmas break, but sometimes we make an escape to snowy places at that time. If we are here we will make a plan.

I just spent 2 hours cleaning and organizing the kids' room, including the closet, to make room for all the baby girl stuff. I still think a trip to IKEA is in order for more Trofast units, but for now everything has a place.
Poor Dylan was not at all happy watching my sisters and me sort through baby clothes yesterday. I think it's starting to hit home just how much things are going to change around here.
