Go, Aimee, Go! I want this for you.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Thanks for the travel~ma! Had a good flight (always get patted down 'cause I'm in a wheelchair - not sure how these scanners would cope with it) and a lovely weekend away. We met some gorgeous adorable schoolfriends of The Girl, drank hot chocolate, drove around Lake Geneva (into France and back into Switzerland - lovely views) and I read about Calvin and Weber's Protestant Ethic and pointed out how well the Swiss banks demonstrate the theory.
ION, the university are treating me like absolute crap, and I am talking to lawyers. I will stay if I get teaching work (interview next week). I may well not if I don't. Having interesting mental health fun while sitting around at home waiting for the uni to admit that they've been having 'meetings' about me while not even informing me of them, much less inviting me. Blah.
Chocolate! Chocolate!
Heh. We have brought back a marmite for L'Escalade. Big chocolate pot filled with marzipan vegetables, commemorating an attack on Geneva where a mother poured a cauldron of soup over the attackers. Random but delicious.
From a couple of hundred posts back: yay bipedal Ryan!
Give-Shir-a-cabana-boy~ma (or at least raise~ma for you).
Huge job~ma, Aimee!
What David said, so much. Good luck, Aims!
Toast.
The Girl is reading about Prince William and future-princess Kate's wedding. "We have to make sure ours isn't at the same time as theirs, or no one will come to ours," she says. Pointed out that we don't move in the same social circles...
And apparently they have Diana's ring. UGH.
And oh, Seska. Glad to read about Geneva (yes, chocolate!). So not glad to read about your uni. I'm sorry that what looked so promising turned out to be crap. Give 'em hell, m'dear.

I'm interested and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
When I saw the announcement yesterday, me and my mom, simultaneously: "oh God, somebody give the girl a sandwich! Quick! Before there will be no wedding!"/"she's looks absolutely anorectic".
Loved Charles' reaction.
Eh, bits of it are still very promising. Having the best fun ever with my actual research. And I got told about some more possible teaching work today. In the education dept! That would be fab.
Indeed!
Much job~ma Aims. It sounds like it would be perfect for you.
I am filled with gronk. It is again far to early to already be seated on my flight waiting for boarding to finish.
Seska, sending out the giant-clue-stick~ma for your university.
