Tea: Oh, and there are all sorts of things cramped into every corner of things he found and collected. I guess he and his family always spent the weekends at yard sales and antique stores. Skulls, and Day of the Dead figurines and just all sorts of everything.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Eh, I went ahead and booked it. It'll be fine, it'll be good.

Gothy packrats unite!
Jilli, I'm trying to talk Jacqueline into making an Alice and Wonderland croquet set with painted hedgehog balls and flamingo mallets.
Oooh, that would be really cute.
Dana, I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm sending some get-through-it ~ma your way.
Cash, yes, it kind of lacks Moriarty cachet.
smonster, staying-well wishes for your trip.
I'm weary. I just accidentally put peas in the spagetti sauce. I had intended to put some frozen spinach in, but grabbed the wrong bag out of the freezer. Fortunately it seems to have done no harm to taste, and only made the texture just a bit more interesting.
Just returned from playing with Holts. Laura lives in a house of sweet giant men. And we played on the boat, two beaches, in the hot tub, and with copious wine.
And we saw a manatee in the waves off of South Beach. No shit.
And Thai food. Oh how I have missed Thai food!
And now I miss Holts. :(
So! We were eating dinner on the train (crab cakes, baked potato & tiramisu for those following along at home) when our tablemates (Katrina survivors, a lady programmer and a WWII vet) pointed out a young couple holding hands. They just got married, she whispered. They stopped the train last night and their whole wedding party was at the station, all dressed to the nines in vintage 50`s gear. She lowered her voice, "they didn`t show up for breakfast is all I`ll say."
So we finished dinner and hung out then went to the lounge car when we noticed them in the dining car. So we have paid forward the random strangers looking after our own Mr. & Mrs. Teacup, and we bought adorable 50`s newlyweds a bottle of wine. Yay newlywed joy!
Travelling by train is so much more romantic that travelling by plane.
That's so sweet, Liese.
