Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Cheer AND poison ivy. And prednisone. Actually, I forgot that my doc's initial response was to pretend to note, "patient is manic..."

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

“Not dead yet!”

Aw, it looks as if sj's & TCG's happiness is just overflowing onto the Buffistas as a whole. YAY!

And WindSparrow articulated the thanks to the lovely people doing the lovely things for sj & TCG in a... well, lovely manner.

It's all just loverly.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Yay smonster! Yay elopalopes! Yay people buying elopalopes things! Yay bonny!

I was dreaming about a very inspired ad campaign for Dove Dark Chocolate, and it featured very-carefully posed bodice-ripper-cover type photography of a woman dropping those individual chocolate bits on the naked body of a smiling man and about to nibble them off of him. The ad line was "Don't fantasize about it. Do it."

You. Are. A. Genius.

Spent all day working on the song. With the exception of tweaks to volumes and panning, I think it's finished. It's for a prank so I'll post the URL when it finally goes public. It's not that impressive by some people's standards but it's hella impressive for me. I mostly gave up playing instruments when I got RSI. I don't practice. Even when I did practice, piano is not my instrument. I had to use a keyboard as the MIDI controller so that meant playing take after take to get things right (which hurt). Then there's the whole separate learning curves of GarageBand, arranging and mixing... So for me this is something to be proud of and a step forward. I'd never release it on an album (I'd hire actual people who know what they're doing), but for a non-paying gig that needed a quick turnaround, I done good.

sj, I'm so glad you started your marriage so well, and with so much niceness from strangers.

DCJ, I'm so sorry. Lots of coping wished your way.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Spidra, go you! Looking forward to the finished project.

Know what's awesome about getting older? Going to bed at 10:30 on a Friday and feeling AWESOME about it. Good night!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

smonster, I am so happy that this job change is so much the right thing for you.

Spidra, it's good to see you having some satisfaction in the musical arena, especially after all the frustrations you experience with your family.

Oh, and in miraculous news, Niki (surrogate mom) has gone home from the hospice/hospital/death watch!!! She is able to take a few steps under her own steam and is working to get strong enough to move to CA. Her doctors are struck dumb.

bonny, this is truly wonderful. I'm just going to bask in that.

I wish your bff hadn't let you down, but I'm glad you aren't just taking it, or just ignoring, either.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Schrödinger's cat is 75 this year.

...maybe.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Bonny that is beyond wonderful.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Schrödinger's cat is 75 this year.

...maybe.

So on average, it'd be 37.5 years old.

Quantum mechanics is all about probability, so I say I'm right. But then I suppose I should have said the expected value of it's age would be 37.5.

I used to know this stuff better. It's sad that mathy knowledge has such a short half-life.
