Fred: The size and depth of the wound indicate a female vampire. Harmony: Or gay! Fred: Um…it doesn't really work like that.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh Steph, he's so ready to be martyred. Have you heard him go on about this? I'd almost hate to see a unicorn do him in.

Of course, if he dissolved into dust like a Buffy vamp...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Of course, if he dissolved into dust like a Buffy vamp...

Oooh, new happy place.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Daniel and WindSparrow, how frightening! {{}} I'm glad they're going to treat you now. And the "why the leg isn't healing" theory that have been mentioned here sounds reasonable.

Pix and ND - much, much continued ~ma. I can't even begin to imagine what this past year has been like for you, not to mention the recent hospitalization alone. I really hope they're gonna find out what's going on with ND soon.

Edit: Not really awake yet, feel free to ignore any typos.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

And in separate petty post: apparently the key to "how to get up before 8:00am" is "getting up at 6:30am". I couldn't do it with an alarm set to 7:20 or 7:45. Could do it with an alarm set (without snooze!) to 6:30, even though I fell asleep sometime after 1:00am. Bodies and sleep circulations are a weird thing.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

most people sleep in 90 minute cycles...so it makes sense that you could easily wake up at 6:30 or 8...but not any time in between.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Mine seem to be 3 hours. I can sleep 6, 9 or 12 and be okay but I'm gronky if I sleep 7 or 8.

3 hrs = 2 90 minutes cycles :) what about 7 1/2 ?

I dunno. I just have a long experience of it taking 3 hours for me to enter sleep, get to REM and back. Anything less than 3 (although I could be woken in 15 or 20 minutes and be a little cranky but basically okay) and I get woken up in the middle of a dream and that REALLY messes me up.
